Ranger Falls Loop Trail is a 2.4 mile moderate trafficked loop trail located near Highlands, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs. are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Take a hike through Rangers Falls Trail
Directions from Skyline Lodge:
- From Skyline Lodge, take Skyline Lodge Rd. to where it becomes Flat Mountain Rd. / State Road 1544 and follow Flat Mountain Rd. to the left.
- Proceed on Flat Mountain Road for about 1.3 miles.
- Just past the intersection of Hedden Lane on your right and Flat Mountain Estates Rd. on your left there will be an old Ranger Station parking area.
- Turn into the old Ranger Station parking area and at the far end of it is access to the Ranger Falls Trail.
